A fantastic 13.3 mile walk today led by Evelyn with a party of 15 in all. Some familiar faces sadly not with us! A day of laughter and comraderie and blessedly no rain! The route took us from Wellingborough along the Nene Way to Summer Leys Nature Reserve, stopping for welcome refreshments at Els Bakes in Wollaston, then on to Podington for a lunch break at the Garden Centre. After lunch (unfortunately Charles still didn't get his chips!) we went on to Irchester, walking through the Country Park to the end of our walk. Thanks everyone for such a successful day out.
