Morning walk of 7¼ miles. 09:30 start from The Bell PH in Little Addington SP 960737. Park in the pub car park if you will be patronising the pub, otherwise in the village. Pub lunch available after the walk. Walking around Stanwick Country Park. Roger Tarry.

Afternoon walk of 5½ miles. 14:00 start from The Riverside Car Park, south of Earls Barton SP 859619. Walking via Cogenhoe. Shirley Row.
Sunday 7th September
A romp round Rutland. Circular day walk of 15 miles. Car-share from CS at 08:00 or meet the leader at the 09:30 start from Lyddington Church SP 876969. Park considerately in village streets. Bring packed lunch but possible pub stop in Uppingham, where our own food is banned. A lovely walk in the rolling countryside of Rutland via Seaton, Uppingham, Belton and Stockerston. John Ledger.

Morning walk of 6½ miles. 09:30 start from The Royal Oak car park, Cogenhoe SP 832606. Park in village or pub car park if frequenting the pub after the walk. Pub lunch available after the walk. Taking in the villages of Brafield and Denton. No dogs please. Sue & Michael Holmes.
Saturday 13th September
Peak District walk of 13 miles. Takes in Chatsworth Park and Beeley village. Car-share from The Turnpike, Harpole Turn, Weedon Road at 07:00 or meet the leader at the walk start from Bakewell SK 217691. Park in the road opposite the hospital on A619 at the edge of Bakewell. Lunch alfresco. Maximum car sharing. Brian Hill.
Afternoon walk of a leisurely 6 miles. 14:00 start from The School, Stoke Goldington. SP 837486. Please park considerately in the village. A walk through Stokepark wood to the forest. A few stiles. No dogs please. Brian & Di Hopkins.
Sunday 14th September
Circular Day walk of 11½ miles. Car-share from CS at 08:30 or meet the leader at the 09:30 start from The Foxton Locks Car Park SP 692892. Explorer 223. Pay & display £1.50. Lunch alfresco at Mowsley, but there is a pub. Children welcome. Morning via Gumley and Saddington. Afternoon returning along the towpath. Lots of stiles. No dogs please. Chris Roberts.
Wednesday 17th September
Morning walk of a leisurely 7 miles. 09:30 start from Stanwick, outside The Duke of Edinburgh pub SP 980714. Use car park if patronising pub, otherwise please park considerately nearby. Pub lunch available after the walk. Walking through Raunds. David Craddock.
Saturday 20th September
Afternoon walk of 8½ miles. 14:00 start from Kelmarsh Church SP 735792. The walk goes through a disused railway tunnel, so it is not for the claustrophobic. Torches essential. Walking via Clipston, East Farndon and Great Oxendon. Kneale Grainger.
Sunday 21st September
The Clopton Way - Gamlingay Cinques to Wimpole Hall. Linear Day walk of 11 miles. Car-share from CS at 08:00. All cars, no more than half full, travel to Wimpole Hall NT car park TL 336508. £2 charge at Wimpole Hall (NT members free, please bring sticker), redeemable on refreshments. Full cars then travel to the walk start at Gamlingay Cinques car park TL 227529. Lunch alfresco. No dogs please. Steve Sayers.
Wednesday 24th September
Northamptonshire Area event at Yardley Chase. 3 or 5 miles. 09:30 for 10:00 start from Yardley Hastings Memorial Hall in Northampton Road. Walking to the edge of Yardley Chase and back to gain publicity for our efforts to improve permissive access to The Chase. More details in the Area Newsletter. An optional 2 miles walk will follow. Afternoon walk of a leisurely 5 miles. 14:00 start from the lay-by on the Duston-Nobottle road just before the second turn to Little Brington SP 660634. Walking through Nobottle Wood, Chinkwell Spinney and by permissive path to Great Brington. Bob & Joan Bradley.
