Morning walk of 7 miles. 09:30 start from The Watts Arms, Castlethorpe Road, Hanslope, MK19 7LG, SP 802470. Parking arranged in Hanslope Scouts car park, a few hundred yards down the Castlethorpe Road, where the walk finishes, SP 800467. Pub lunch available after the walk. Walking via Long Street, Pindon End and Castlethorpe, walking on headlands, track and grass fields. No dogs please. Jeff Noble.

Saturday 4th February
Afternoon walk of 6 miles. 13:30 start from near Cottesbrooke Church SP 710736. Walking to Haselbeech Hill for fine views. Richard Alcock.
Sunday 5th February
Knightley Way. Linear day walk of 12½ miles. Car-share from CS at 08:30. All cars, no more than half full, travel to Greens Norton Medical Centre car park, Towcester Rd, NN12 8BL, SP 671501. At 09.00 full cars then travel to the walk start at Badby Green. Lunch alfresco. No dogs please. George & Joy Tripp.

The south of the county. Morning walk of 7½ miles. 09:30 start from The George and Dragon, Chacombe near Banbury, OX17 2JT, SP 492439. Park in the pub car park. Pub lunch available after the walk. Walking to Thenford and Middleton Cheney. Several stiles. No dogs please. John Wheeler.

Afternoon walk of 5½ miles. 13:30 start from Roade Library (A508 end of High Street) SP 756516. Do not park in Library Car Park. Walking past Ashton to Bottom Lock, and by canal to Stoke Bruerne. Sheila Fitchett.
Sunday 19th February
Circular day walk of 14 miles. Car-share from CS at 08:15 for a 09:00 start from Harrold Country Park SP 956566. Parking at the visitor centre for a donation of £1. Lunch at Souldrop; own food OK in pub, and pub grub available. If necessary the route will be changed to avoid flooding. The walk will go close to Santa Pod Raceway, Souldrop, Sharnbrook and Felmersham. Incorperating White Lane and Forty Foot Lane. Several stiles. Andrew Gilbertson.
Wednesday 22nd February
Morning walk of 7½ miles. 10:00 start from Akeley Village Hall, Church Hill, situated behind the school (with permission), MK18 5HB, SP 709377. Use the hall car park - not village roads. Pub lunch available after the walk. An easy walk on tracks and grass fields via Maids Moreton, Chackmore and skirting the rear boundary of Stowe Gardens with pleasant views including some of the buildings in the gardens. Snowdrops, hopefully. Afternoon walk of 5 miles. 14:00 start from near Farthingstone Church SP 613549. If hazardous driving conditions, consult leaders about alternative. Walking through the hole in the wall to Maidford, passing the air navigation beacon. Using The Macmillan and Knightley Ways. Some awkward stiles. No dogs please. Bob & Joan Bradley. Circular day walk of 14½ miles. Car-share from CS at 08:15 or meet the leader at the 09:00 start from the former pub and the village hall at Moreton Pinkney SP 576493. Lunch at The Three Conies in Thorpe Manderville, where our own food is OK. Walking via Eydon, The Cherwell Valley and Sulgrave, including parts of The Jurassic Way, The Macmillan Way and The Battlefield Trail. Chris Eilbeck.

Town & Country. Short Morning Walk of a leisurely 5 miles. 10:00 start from The Elwes Arms, Great Billing, NN3 9DT, SP 811629. If patron, park in pub car park. Pub lunch available after the walk. A contrast of urban and rural areas passing through the attractive village of Ecton. 7 stiles. No dogs please. Bob Entwistle.

Circular day walk of 11½ miles. Car-share from CS at 08:45 or meet the leader at the 09:30 start from Scaldwell, on the grass verge at the edge of the village beyond the church on the Old Road SP 769727. Lunch alfresco. Walking via Hanging Houghton, Lamport and Faxton. Gill Howe.
Wednesday 14th March
Morning walk of 7½ miles. 09:30 start from The Three Cranes, Turvey, Bedfordshire, MK43 8EP, SP 941525. Park in the car park if using the pub, or in streets nearby, avoiding local shops. Pub lunch available after the walk. Pub now under new ownership. The route takes in Abbey Farm, passing under and over the old Northampton to Bedford railway line. Passing by several spinneys and heading back via the Milton Keynes Boundary Walk. No dogs please. Sue & Michael Holmes.

Cannock Chase South. Circular day walk of a strenuous 13 miles. Car-share from The Turnpike, Harpole Turn, Weedon Road at 07:00 for a walk starting from Cannock Chase Visitor Centre SK 004153. Use car parks near, not in, visitor centre. Lunch alfresco. No dogs please. Steve Sayers.

Places available in the main car park if eating lunch after the walk, otherwise with difficulty in the main street in the village. A walk with a difference. Some hard ground walking with soft. Swaledale weekend. Two or three days' walking in the Yorkshire Dales based in Thwaite, close to where All Creatures Great and Small was filmed. Afternoon walk of 6 miles. 14:00 start from canal-side of The Boat Inn, Stoke Bruerne SP 743499. Suggest parking at the top of the road in the church field car park SP 740499, donation requested (£1?). Walking along the canal towards Grafton Regis, then through Addington. A few stiles. Sunday 15th April
Wakefield Deer Park. Circular day walk of 9¼ miles. Car-share from CS at 09:20 or meet the leader at the 10:00 start from Paulerspury High Street, near the Barley Mow, NN12 7NA, SP 718455. Park considerately in the village, not near the church. Lunch alfresco. The walk incorporates a 3 mile stretch through the Wakefield Estate and deer park, where public access is restricted to April and May each year. No dogs please. Jeff Noble.

Peak District walk of 13 miles. Car-share from The Turnpike, Harpole Turn, Weedon Road at 07:00 for a walk starting from Longnor parking area near crossroads, cafés, pub & PC SK 089649. Picnic lunch.
