Figure-of-8 walks: morning 6¾ miles, afternoon 5¼. Leisurely. Car-share from CS at 09:00 for a 09:45 start from Islip, outside the Working Men's Club located in the main street SP 987792. Park considerately nearby. Lunch at the Working Men's Club, where our own food is OK.
The afternoon walk starts at 13:30 from The Working Men's Club. Morning via Lowick and Sudborough. Afternoon to Aldwincle, returning via Titchmarsh Local Nature Reserve. David Craddock. 9 morning walkers, 11 afternoon walkers. 7 did all day.

Park in the village hall car park, opposite The Wheatsheaf, entrance off Welton Road. Lunch at The Wheatsheaf, where pub grub is available and our own food is OK.
Afternoon walk starts at 13:30 from The Wheatsheaf. Both walks walk some of our new Northamptonshire Boundary Walk. The morning walk will be through Willoughby. 100+150 metres of climbing. 27+2 stiles. John Tye. 3 at CS. 14 morning walkers. 17 in the pub. Pub lunch available after the walk. The walk passes through or close to Little Addington, Great Addington, Woodford, Denford and Ringstead with views across the valley and of the river and lakes. Morning walk of 7½ miles. 10:00 start from Akeley Village Hall, Church Hill, situated behind the school (with permission), MK18 5HB, SP 709377. Use the hall car park - not village roads. Pub lunch available after the walk. An easy walk on tracks and grass fields via Maids Moreton, Chackmore and skirting the rear boundary of Stowe Gardens with pleasant views including some of the buildings in the gardens. Morning walk of 7½ miles. 09:30 start from The Three Cranes, Turvey, Bedfordshire, MK43 8EP, SP 941525. Park in the car park if using the pub, or in streets nearby, avoiding local shops. Pub lunch available after the walk. Pub now under new ownership. The route takes in Abbey Farm, passing under and over the old Northampton to Bedford railway line. Passing by several spinneys and heading back via the Milton Keynes Boundary Walk. No dogs please. Sue & Michael Holmes.

Park considerately in the village, not near the church. Lunch alfresco.
