via Wappenham, Weedon Lois and Slapton, using Sybil Cartwright's bridge. Afternoon mostly grass

Lunch at The White Horse Inn in Old, where we can eat our own food off plates supplied by the
landlord; no packed lunches to be visible. All boots to be removed, i.e. no boot covers or bags
allowed. Walk overlooking the reservoir and valley, but not on the periphery path, via Holcot,
Hannington, Brixworth and Pitsford. Richard Merson.
The car park was closed. 32 walkers actually walked 14 miles, finishing at

Middleton Cheney and Chacombe. In the afternoon, back to Middleton Cheney by a shorter route.

near Church lane/Campbell Square

an adult £10. Café available in the grounds. Leave Kew at 17:30. See the newsletter. Booking

A full coach load of 51. A large group of us started with coffee, but then
split up. A good day for the greenhouses (drizzle). Several took a walk along the river, and
several sampled the beer made from Kew's hops. The coach returned at 17:00. |
