Sunday 2nd May Circular day walk of 14½ miles. CS 09:00 for 09:30 start from Pattishall Parish church SP 671543. Good parking below the church. At lunchtime meet the new landlord/lady at the Eykyn Arms, where our own food will still be OK. Visit the villages, hamlets and undulating country on Northampton's doorstep. Walk the circle squared via the canal, including Blisworth Tunnel and Gayton Junction, with lunch in the high village of Gayton. Chris Eilbeck

Sunday 9th May LONDON COACH TRIP - JUBILEE WALK. 07:30 depature from Victoria Street car park, Campbell Square, Northampton. Walk the updated Jubilee Walk. Bookings now closed. Cost £9. The Flood Plain. 09:30 start from the car park near Duston Mill, at the bottom of the road running downhill, parallel to Duston Mill Lane, from the Walter Tull memorial roundabout, Sixfields, Northampton SP 730598. Visiting Kislingbury; using the Nene Way, the Grand Union Canal Walk and the footpath in Swan Valley. 7 stiles. John Tye. Well we started with 13, but finished with 11, having seen one lady taken to hospital in an ambulance with multiple wasp stings, and another taking a short-cut home because of all the delay.

Tuesday 3rd August Evening walk of 4½ miles. 19:00 start from Hanging Houghton telephone box SP 753737. Walking to Scaldwell; returning with views of Pitsford Reservoir. Claire Craddock. 7 walkers on a walk cut short a little because of rain, so all 7 were in the pub by 20:45.

Saturday 7th August Linear day walk of 11 miles. Northampton Greyfriars bus station for no.3 bus from Bay 14 at 09:56. Walk starts at 10:30 from Hawksmoor Way, Rye Hill SP 729625. No parking in Hawksmoor Way. Lunch at the Griffin in Pitsford, but unable to eat our own food there. Finishing at Bradlaugh Fields Park, behind Safeway, Kettering Road. Walking via Harlestone Firs, Church Brampton, Chapel Brampton, Merry Tom Lane, Pitsford Reservoir and Boughton. Binoculars advisable for views over the reservoir.
