Saturday 25th October Day walk in the Peak District: Win Hill / Lose Hill / Mam Tor. Depart 07:00 from the UGC Cinema car park, Sixfields. Strenuous 12/13 miles walk. Bring full wet weather gear/warm clothing, packed lunch and drinks. Maximum car sharing. Route may be changed depending on conditions. Park in the BT Exchange car park next to the restaurant or considerately in the village. Morning walk 5½ miles. Lunch at Eastcote, where our own food is OK. Afternoon walk of 4¼ miles starts from Peggotty's Restaurant at 13:45. Walk will be followed by Christmas Dinner at Peggotty's, then at 18:00 the Carol service in Cold Higham church (2 minutes away).
