Undiscovered Lancashire. Four days of walking, with Youth Hostel accommodation at Ingleton and Haworth. Fully booked. Those interested in a longer day's walk will travel up on the Friday, staying overnight at Ingleton YH. On the Saturday we will then tackle a 13 mile walk taking in the wild and desolate gritstone uplands of Gragareth [at 2057 ft the highest point in Lancashire], and 3 other summits plus visiting [if we can find them] a couple of well known potholes and caves. We will then travel across to Haworth YH. Here we will meet up with others who prefer their hill walking in more moderate and gentle dosages and have journeyed up on that day to join us for the other 3 days. These will embrace Lancashire's own '3 Peaks' - in reality 3 hills all under 2000ft. On Sunday an 8 mile circular walk will see us climbing Boulsworth Hill [1706ft); on Monday Weets Hill [6 miles, 1310 ft], and on Tuesday Pendle Hill [5 miles, 1803 ft]. On Sunday and Monday I am anticipating that there will be time in the afternoon for exploring local places of interest, eg.
