Two walks: a circular day walk of 13¾ miles, or an afternoon
walk of 5 miles. CS 08:50 for the day walk. Park and meet in Kettering Road, Broughton, near the Sun PH for a 09:30 start. SP 836762. In the morning view the clearing work for bridleway 6R9, which has been blocked for about 30 years. Our own lunchtime food is OK at the White Horse, Old; or Sunday roast is available. There will be a rally at Old Playing Fields at 13:30, then the longer walk leaves Old by footpath DF1 to where it is truncated short of Pitsford Reservoir.
